Shun Tokinoya is a high school sophomore who works at the FOX ONE e-sports cafe. He gives up his passion for gaming after losing his father in an accident. Upon hearing the cafe is in debt, Shun puts his guilt aside and assembles a team to compete in the Xaxxerion Championship. Together they face stiff competition to win the prize money. 789 Survival is a Thai survival show created by TADA Entertainment and Sonray Music, where 24 trainees will be mixed and matched through various missions to find a group of trainees that have good chemistry together.
