Shun Tokinoya is a high school sophomore who works at the FOX ONE e-sports cafe. He gives up his passion for gaming after losing his father in an accident. Upon hearing the cafe is in debt, Shun puts his guilt aside and assembles a team to compete in the Xaxxerion Championship. Together they face stiff competition to win the prize money. They Think It's All Over is a British comedy panel game with a sporting theme produced by Talkback and shown on BBC One. The show's name is taken from Kenneth Wolstenholme's famous 1966 World Cup commentary quotation, "they think it's all over...it is now!" and the show used the phrase as the last line of every programme. In 2006 the show was axed after 11 years of being on-air.

The League of Gentlemen is a British sitcom broadcast on BBC Two over three series from 1999 to 2002. In the fictional Northern England town of Royston Vasey—based on Bacup, Lancashire—the lives are explored of dozens of bizarre citizens, much of whom are played by three of the show's four writers—Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, and Reece Shearsmith—who, along with Jeremy Dyson, formed the titular comedy troupe in 1995. The programme was followed by a film in 2005, and a three-part revival miniseries in December 2017 to celebrate the group's 20th anniversary.

Granaten wie wir (Grenades Like Us) is a comedy show moderated by Max Giermann, which made its debut on German television on ProSieben on September 15, 2009. Six episodes were seen in autumn 2009, the remaining six episodes that had already been produced were broadcast from September 21, 2010. However, these have been shortened from 60 to 30 minutes.
