James Brown was the jewel in the crown, but the throne of Cincinnati’s King Records always belonged to its irascible founder, Syd Nathan. This is the 70th anniversary of the legendary record label and studio. It closed shop nearly 40 years ago, in a now long-neglected warehouse on the neighborhood border of Evanston and Walnut Hills, but its impact still reverberates across today’s music.

In the industrial and maritime city of Le Havre, Soren and Karving, two 14-year-old friends, are passionate about fishing. In conflict with authority and failing at school, fishing has become their space of freedom and a unique way to project themselves into the future: more than anything, Soren wants to become a fisherman and Karving a fisherman-reporter. As the pressure of their exams mounts, and without their diploma they can kiss their dream life goodbye, they will have to compromise between their passion and reality.

Tuấn Tú / Person-able is a 42-minute video assembled from media captured through Cao's computer and laptop camera over three years. The work documents a personal journey of self-hood. Released in recognition of 2025 International Youth Day, the video foregrounds transgender experience in adolescence.
