The Volunteer Archivists tells the story of Srujanika, a volunteer-led collective in the Indian state of Odisha that archived some of the rarest printer publications published in the last 200 years. The archive — Odia Bibhaba — now houses over 10,000 books and hundreds of magazines, newspapers, and dictionaries that otherwise would have been lost forever due to collective negligence and the poor state of digitization by the state archives.

FUGAZI is an experimental short film that explores the genesis of space through the presence of sound. Inspired by Leibniz’s relational theory, the film suggests that space only exists when it is inhabited, in this case, by sound. Through a sensory and progressive montage, sound reveals, transforms, and collapses space, guiding the viewer through cycles of creation and dissolution. It is an audiovisual experience about the invisible becoming visible when heard.

Out of love for Huskies, nature and cold winters Dave and Kristen Olesen moved from Minnesota to the North West Territories in Canada 25 years ago to create their own little universe on the magnificent East arm of Great Slave Lake.
